boots

Do you remember THESE boots? Well, they arrived about 3 weeks ago, very quickly! Yesterday I wore them the first time, but don't know what to think about them...They are not really comfortable: my feet slip a lot, which hurts after a few hours...But I'll give them a second chance - together with a thick insole ;)

Metropolis

Did anyone see this film two weeks ago, broadcasted live from the International Film Festival in Berlin? Well I did, although i didn't want to see it. But luckily my little brother did...He thought it's funny to watch a film which is almost 80 years old...he didn't like it by the way... :D Hmm, but what about me? The first minutes I was busy with something else, but that didn't work - you just cannot watch a silent film AND doing something else :D So I stopped the other thing and concentrated on the film...And I was surprised! The story was interesting, the music was great (Orchestra!) and so on... But the most amazing about it was the setting:

But unfortunately it reminded me of university stuff and my favourite subject for falling asleep (not because of the content, but my prof always switched ALL the light off), looks like this:

Do you see that my cardigan is made from some kind of very interesting sheer fabric? :D I'm really hoping for warmer days, this would look so good over a simple white tee and my naked arms :D

So what do you think about Benetton's IT'S:MY:TIME contest? I have to admit that I signed up, too, just for fun and to be able to vote, but now I'm not sure about it, think I'm going to delete my profile again. All comments you get are "Vote for me, I vote for you" - that somehow annoys me, I don't want to vote for anyone or get a vote myself on that basis - do I expect too much? :D
The other thing I see, is people who sign up using pictures of models, e.g. Lily Cole. Do they think nobody recognises it?

I'm really interested in your opinion, is there even someone who signed up, too?

Was denkt ihr über den neuen Casting-Wettbewerb von Benetton? IT'S:MY:TIME? Ich muss zugeben, dass ich mich dort ebenfalls angemeldet habe, zum Spaß und um die Möglichkeit zu haben zu voten, aber mal abgesehen davon, dass ich schon längere Zeit nicht vorbeigeschaut habe bin ich mir sowieso unsicher, ich glaube ich werde mein Profil wieder löschen. Bei allen Kommentaren heißt es immer nur: "Vote für mich, dann vote ich für dich" - das nervt mich und ich habe keine Lust solchen Leuten meine Stimme zu geben oder von ihnen eine Stimme zu bekommen. Erwarte ich vielleicht zuviel? 
Das Andere ist, dass es doch tatsächlich Leute gibt, die sich anmelden und Bilder von Models benutzen, z.B. von Lily Cole. Was soll das? o.O

Mich interessiert eure Meinung zu dem Thema, gibt es jemanden, der sich dort angemeldet hat?

work, work, work

I'm totally overwhelmed with work the last days...Tomorrow I have a correction meeting in university and I had a lot to do for it - exams are coming next month. I'm going on with work immediately, just wanted to write something about the Sonia Rykiel for h&m collection: I already read on so many sites about it and mostly the people are not impressed at all. Actually I think that it is a cute and funny collection - just look at all the colours and pattern. BUT most of it is just not my style, although I really like some pieces, I wouldn't buy them, cause I have no ideas how to wear them - there is nothing similar or matching in my closet. But I really, really love this overall and the shoes:

Over The Knee Boot

Just bought these boots from Urban Outfitters on sale. Very excited how they'll look in real and if they fit - usually I don't buy shoes online, I did it five times before (ebay) and not a single pair suited!! So let's hope for the best!
